A person who owns property within Catoosa County can post a property bond. They must provide a current tax receipt showing the owners, property value, and that the taxes are paid in full and up to date. All persons listed on the tax receipt must be present and sign the property bond.
A transfer bond is a property bond signed by a person(s) who owns property in another Georgia county. It must be signed at the Sheriff’s Office in the county where the property is located. The person(s) signing the transfer bond must return that bond to the Catoosa County Jail in a sealed envelope from the Sheriff’s Department in the county where the bond was signed.
